Job Description
A Family Dentist is required. The tasks include diagnosing oral diseases, promoting oral health and disease prevention, creating treatment plans to maintain or restore the oral health of their patients, interpreting x-rays and diagnostic tests and ensuring the safe administration of anesthetics.
Responsibilities include carrying out oral healthcare routines including cleanings, root canals, and surgical extractions. In addition, the family dentist is supposed to educate patients on proper oral care and hygiene.
Requirements: Being capable of delivering a broad range of dental services, completion of an accredited dental school program, a state license to practice dentistry and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Prior experience in family dentistry is a plus.
