Job Summary:
An excellent opportunity to join a leading government hospital in Saudi Arabia as a Pediatric Surgery Consultant. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and performing surgical procedures on infants and children, supervising the surgical team, and ensuring adherence to the highest medical standards in pediatric surgery.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and perform a wide range of pediatric surgical procedures, including congenital anomalies, gastrointestinal surgeries, and emergency cases.
- Provide consultations for complex pediatric surgical cases within the hospital.
- Supervise and train junior surgeons, residents, and medical staff in the Pediatric Surgery Department.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on the latest medical advancements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care for pediatric patients.
- Participate in research and continuous medical education programs.
- Ensure compliance with national and international medical standards in pediatric surgery.
Qualifications Required:
Education:
- Board certification in Pediatric Surgery or equivalent.
- Certification recognized by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pediatric surgery post-specialization.
- Experience in managing critical pediatric surgical cases, including neonatal and minimally invasive procedures.
Skills and Competencies:
