Job Summary:
An excellent opportunity to join a leading government hospital in Saudi Arabia as a Pediatric Hematology & Oncology Consultant. The candidate will be responsible for providing specialized care for children with hematological and oncological disorders, supervising the medical team, and contributing to the development of treatment protocols based on the latest international standards.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat pediatric hematologic and oncologic diseases, including rare and complex cases.
- Supervise medical staff, including residents, nurses, and technicians.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as bone marrow biopsies and chemotherapy administration.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans and monitor patient progress to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated care for pediatric hematology and oncology patients.
- Contribute to scientific research and continuous medical education programs.
- Ensure compliance with national and international medical standards and protocols.
Qualifications Required:
Education:
- Board certification in Pediatric Hematology & Oncology or equivalent.
- Certification recognized by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pediatric hematology and oncology post-specialization.
- Experience in managing complex cases, chemotherapy programs, and bone marrow transplantation.
Skills and Competencies:
- Advanced diagnostic and treatment skills in pediatric hematology and oncology.
- Excellent communication skills with children, families, and medical staff.
